1. Notice of Intent to Vacate

• Advance Notice:  To terminate your storage agreement, we require a written notice at least 30 days prior to your intended move-out date. This notice allows us to process your account closure efficiently.​

• Submission Methods:  You can submit your notice by:​

2. Move-Out Process

• Unit/Space Condition:  Upon vacating, please ensure your storage spot is empty, clean, and in the same condition as when you first rented it. This includes removing all personal belongings and sweeping the unit. (where applicable).

• Lock Removal:  Remove your personal lock from the unit. Failure to do so may result in continued rental charges, as the unit will be considered occupied.​

 

3. Final Billing and Refunds

• Billing Cycle:  Our rental periods are based on a monthly cycle starting on the date of your lease agreement. Rent is not prorated for partial periods.​

• Prepaid Rent:  If you have prepaid for future rental periods beyond your move-out date, you may be eligible for a refund of the unused portion. Refunds are processed within 14 business days after confirming the unit has been vacated in accordance with this policy.​

• Administrative Fees:  Please note that administrative fees and other one-time charges are non-refundable.​

 

4. Failure to Provide Notice

• Insufficient Notice:  If the required 30 day notice is not provided, you may be responsible for the subsequent rental period's charges.​

• Abandoned Property:  Units left locked and unpaid without proper notice may be considered abandoned, and contents may be handled in accordance with local laws and the terms of your rental agreement.​

 

5. Early Termination by Facility

Gerringong Commercial Hub Pty Ltd reserves the right to terminate rental agreements under circumstances outlined in the lease or agreement, including but not limited to non-payment or violation of facility rules.​
